Fibula

 

Etruria, Italy, last quarter of 7th century BCE

 

One-piece bronze fibula with a long pin catch. The body is decorated with grooved geometric pattern of bands of hatching. Northern Etruscan boat (navicella) type. Graduated ring notches on the head and foot of the bow.
